Car Rentals Terms And Conditions

1. Rates include
1.1. Unlimited mileage
1.2. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Covers all damages to the car except damages to the undercarriage, wheels-tires, cabin and glasses. The excess is 350€ (taxes included) for categories A, B, C, D, E, F. For categories S, G, H the excess is 750€ (taxes included).
1.3. Vate Added Tax (VAT) 24%
1.4 Theft Protection Coverage (TPC): with an excess equal to CDW for each car category
1.5. Delivery and Collection: Deliveries to PVK Airport are made at the arrival time of the plane. Deliveries in the island are made by a location-based time schedule
1.6. A.S.C (Airport Service Charge)
1.7. T.P.L.I (Third Party Liability Insurance): Maximum 900.000€ for personal injury / Maximum 900.000€ for property

2. Rates exclude
2.1. P.A.I (Personal Accident Insurance)
2.2. Fuel: At the time of the rental, the level of fuel will be written on the costumer’s rental contract. The car must be returned with the same level of fuel, or else charges will occur.
2.3. Traffic fines: The driver is the only responsible to cover the cost of any fees (parking, toll, traffic violations).
2.4. Keys: The costumer is responsible to cover the cost for lost or damaged keys. Lost or damaged keys are not covered by any insurance (CDW, FDW) or the TPC

3. Optional Extras
3.1. Full Damage Waiver (FDW): If the costumer doesn’t want to have an excess, there is the option of the FDW. There is a small extra cost per day for the FDW, depending on the category of the car. Costumers can have the FDW after contacting with the office. Even if the driver chooses the FDW, the undercarriage, wheels – tires are not covered by the insurance. Damages at any part of the vehicle caused due to a violation of the European and Greek traffic law (e.g. driving while drunk or under the influence of drugs, using the vehicle for race competitions ect), are not covered by any insurance.

4. Policy
4.1. Pricing: quoted on a “per day” basis
4.2. Deposit: a 25% deposit is required to be paid via bank for the finalization of any booking.
4.3. Reservations: must be made by category and not by car model. Our car models are indicative. The costumer may get a similar or upgraded car at our discretion. There is no refund for deposits.
4.4. Payment: by credit card or cash. We accept American Express, Visa and Master Card.
4.5. Credit card: drivers must have a credit card at the time of the rental as a guarantee (even if they pay cash) to cover all insurances and extra costs that are excluded from the price.
4.6. Driving license & driver’s age: Driving licenses must be European or International. For categories A, B, C, D, E, F the driver must be over 23 years old and have a driving license for at least 1 year. For categories G, H the driver must be over 25 years old and have a driving license for at least 2 years
4.7. Extension of the rental: if the costumer wishes to extend the rental period, he/she must contact the office, before the expiration of the rental agreement.
4.8. Ferry: vehicles are permitted on ferries only upon request.
4.9. Cross-border travel: is not allowed.
4.10. After the PVK area: for driving after the Airport area, the driver must get a permission from the office. Charges may occur depending on the location.
4.11. Pets: must be carried on a small container inside the vehicle.
